Efren Morales

A member of the Western Window Systems S.W.A.T. (Special Western Action Team), Efren Morales is one of those go-to guys who tackle the unexpected issues that arise on the shop floor.

“The key strength as a S.W.A.T. member is to be willing to work wherever needed without hesitation,” says manager Jason Wengert. “Efren from time to time will show up in three to four departments in a single day, and he is the prime example of a person willing to work wherever needed.”

Getting products to customers on time is what it’s all about at Western Window Systems, and without the efforts of Efren, who started with the company in July 2012, meeting those goals would prove to be a lot more difficult.

“Efren is our Michael Phelps, and if medals were awarded for best performance, he would take home the gold,” Wengert says. “He is one of the most requested employees on the floor, in all departments.”

H

e’s also an easy guy to work with, never complaining and always wearing a smile, exhibiting a positive attitude all the time.
Says Wengert: “When the going gets tough, Efren steps up his game above and beyond expectations. He once stated to me, ‘It doesn’t where you put me. I will give you everything I’ve got to get the job done.’”

And right there, you’ve got the core values of Western Window Systems – Excellence, Innovation, and Partnership – personified in Efren.

Congratulations to Efren Morales, Western Window Systems’ day shift employee of the year for 2017.
