Glass & Glazing

Insulating Glass

Western Window Systems products feature low-E, argon-filled, dual-pane glass, which blocks heat loss to the outside while reflecting heat back into a room. This helps to reduce heating and cooling costs. Glass can be customized in a variety of types, colors, and thicknesses to meet the performance challenges of various climates.

Cardinal Glass

Western Window Systems’ Series 7000 family of performance-based door systems and windows come standard with all-climate coated or high-performance glass from Cardinal Glass Industries. Customized glass options include laminated glass, solar- and glare-control glass, enhanced winter performance glass, and Neat low-maintenance glass. Pre-applied Cardinal Preserve film protects glass through installation.

Energy Star

To receive ENERGY STAR certification, a product must meet a set of energy performance levels determined by the U.S. government. ENERGY STAR criteria varies in different areas of the country. Sustainability

Certified Wood

Our wood panels are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), a group that ensures products are made with, or contain, wood from FSC-certified forests.

Recycled Materials

Western Window Systems products are made with aluminum, a highly recyclable material. We recycle our aluminum as well as materials such as vinyl, cardboard, and paper.
