Volunteers from Western Window Systems’ marketing department teamed up with friends to refurbish the children’s play area at ICM Food & Clothing Bank in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 20.

ICM has assisted the working poor in Phoenix since 1982. Its facility includes a kids’ room for children to play under supervision while their families pick up food and clothing.

The updated ICM Kids’ Room includes several new cabinets, cubbies with storage boxes for toys, bookshelves, an arts and crafts area, a hopscotch rug, a rocking chair, bean bags, and a snack station.

“We serve more than 60 kids per week in our Kids’ Room,” said ICM volunteer coordinator Pia Brown. “Thank you for helping make this space more inviting, fun, and an exciting place for our kiddos to be.”
