Reinvented for strength and energy efficiency, the Series 7950 Aluminum Bi-Fold Door is a perfect solution for architects, builders, and homeowners who want to design, build, and experience indoor-outdoor living in a variety of weather conditions. As durable as it’s impeccably designed, it’s built with premium grade materials and a flush sill option for a seamless transition from the indoors to the outside.
Energy Efficiency
The Series 7950 has a .30 U-value for standard, low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass, giving it the ability to deliver energy efficiency in a variety of weather conditions. Sills are thermally broken for increased performance. The Series 7950 is compliant with California’s rigorous Title 24 requirements.
Built for Strength
One of the strongest bi-fold doors on the market, the Series 7950 features a design pressure (DP) rating of 50 and is certified by the NFRC and AAMA. For additional strength, it incorporates stainless steel hardware. Currently in testing for hurricane impact.
Climate-Ready Glass
Low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass from Cardinal IG delivers a balance of solar control and high visibility. Pre-applied Cardinal Preserve film protects glass during installation.
Design to Fit Your Tastes
The Series 7950 incorporates durability with a clean, contemporary design. A 3.17” stile allows for more glass and light. Options such as a modern sill and a 90-degree configuration offer more ways to differentiate. The Series 7950 can even be designed as a window — perfect for opening up living spaces like kitchens and patio bars.
Smooth Operation
Sealed stainless steel ball bearing rollers make the Series 7950 Bi-Fold Door easy to operate. A single track minimizes wall depth.
Heavy Duty Hardware
Western Window Systems uses stainless steel head load carriers and hinges for its bi-fold doors.
NFRC Values

Tested for Durability
The Series 7950 Bi-Fold Door features a design pressure (DP) rating of 50 and is certified by the AAMA.
Concealed Locking System
To secure its folding panels, the Series 7950 includes a hidden stainless steel multi-point lock for additional strength and protection.
Series 7950 Bi-Fold Window
The Series 7950 can even be designed as a window — perfect for opening up living spaces like kitchens and patio bars. Available in heights up to 12 feet in select configurations and using heavy-duty hardware.
Standard Sizes
Standard size door systems are available in 3-, 4-, -5, and 6 panel configurations at a 95.5” frame height. All include a ten-day production lead time.
Semi-Custom Sizes
The Volume Program’s custom size and configuration options give production builders more design flexibility than ever to differentiate their homes. Plus, most come with an incredible 15-day production lead time.
A custom door can be ordered as a semi-custom door; however, paint texture, sheen, and color will differ from that of a Volume Program door. In addition, certain glass and door types are not available. There is no appreciable cost savings to a semi-custom door compared to a custom door. What makes our semi-custom option unique is twofold: an ability to differentiate and a production lead time of just 15 days.
Water Barrier Sill
Our water barrier sills are available in two different sizes and pressure ratings. A weep-hole system helps to safeguard against water intrusion.
Flush Sill
For a smooth transition from the inside to the outdoors, the optional flush still lines up with most interior flooring and features an interior and exterior height of just 0.958”. Finished to match the color of the frame.
The flush sill may be less effective at preventing water penetration than the high-performance water barrier sill and may not be appropriate in all climates, conditions, and exposures.
High-Quality Handles
Designed for durability and comfort, the Series 7950 features three high-quality, contemporary-style handles. The Dallas handle, located on all active panels, includes a keyed cylinder. A D-shaped pull handle, at the bi-fold’s pivot points, further aids in opening and closing the door. And an inactive lock handle, at the door’s pivot points, secures the door panels with steel pins at the head and sill.
Premium and inactive lock handles are available in brushed nickel or black. The D-shaped pull handle is available in stainless steel or black.
Choose high-performance aluminum finishes in one of four color options: Warmtone, White, Bronze Anodized, or Satin Anodized.
Warmtone and White are a polyester hybrid painted finish, meaning the finishing process for the organic coatings conforms to a minimum rating of AAMA-2604. Bronze Anodized and Satin Anodized finishes have a Class 1 rating, the highest and most durable rating for anodized aluminum products.
Screening
A retractable screen is available for the Series 7950 Bi-Fold Door in sizes up to 16 feet wide. Screens are mounted on the interior of the door and need to be ordered in conjunction with the corresponding door system.
Screens are not available on custom doors over eight feet in height and cannot be retrofitted. Contact a Volume Program representative for aftermarket alternatives.
